Inside Activate, A High-Energy Indoor Game Destination For Spring Break In Louisville

Activate Games, an indoor “active gaming” center, is a spring break destination for those looking to stay local for the week.

There are 11 themed rooms at Activate — Push, Hide, Hoops, Control, Grid, Pipes, Arena, Climb, Laser, Super Grid and Trench — that have a total of 40 games among them, each of which lasts 1-3 minutes. All of the games require some physical activity — for example, crawling under lasers, climbing handholds on a short wall, running around a colored grid on the floor to collect Tetris-like “puzzle pieces,” or playing a version of Pac-Man by moving a balance pedestal.
